Pros
- Has good poke and damage
- His damage is max health damage for the most part, so he doesn't need many items to be relevant
- Has a 1.5 stun
- Incredible teamfight potential
- THIS GUY IS ON FIREEEEEEE
Cons
- Very squishy with low base armor and magic resist
- Has no mobility - easily gankable
- Has no shields and heals as a support, making him a pure damage support.
- His ult is bad against single targets
- Probably has a hard time peeing XD

Getting
Boots of Speed
early will allow you to get in and out of poke range easily, and also avoid getting jumped on and helping your jungler if needed early in the game. I would rush my first boots right away, taking
Ionian Boots of Lucidity
paired with
Redeeming Enchant
. You can be more diverse in terms of boots items, I just really REALLY love redemption :)
Your probably wondering why I'm not including
Sapphire Crystal
as a first item and why
Tear of the Goddess
are nowhere to be seen. This is because we will be combining the bonus mana from
Manaflow Band
and
Luden's Echo
to give us a good amount of mana without having to rely on getting a tear. Once the two are fully stacked, you should have 600 bonus mana, which is more then enough to sustain you, as long as you don't throw your skills non-stop like a dumbo.
The next two items which are
Liandry's Torment
and
Rylai's Crystal Scepter
. The first is taken because the burn-over time from [brand:passive] will keep triggering it, while the magic damage from every one of
Brand
's skills will turn the enemy team into burning turtles who can't move an inch.
With the two remaining slots that you have, your free to make your own judgement. Take
Morellonomicon
to counter heals,
Void Staff
for tanks and
Rabadon's Deathcap
for lots of damage.
Brand Runes

Triggering
Electrocute
with brand is very simple, and it will do a lot of damage during all stages of the game. Taking
Weakness
combined with the slows or stuns that brand can inflict will turn the enemy team to a weakness fiesta for your own.
Bone Plating
can save your life in a pinch, and
Manaflow Band
will provide you with mana without having to rely on mana items.

The basic poke-stun-burst combo. Can be used easily on lane.
During a teamfight, this will be your all in combo. Try to set as many enemies ablaze with
Pillar Of Flame
, then follow up with
Pyroclasm
for the extra slow and faster stacks, and use
Conflagration
to finish the job, as ablazed enemies will increase its radius.
You can combine [flash] with [brand:1] to extand the range. Use this to surprise enemies and stun them from far.

How to be on-fire
1. Always start your pokes and engages with
Pillar Of Flame
, as it has the most range and AOE.
2. NEVER use
Pyroclasm
only on one enemy unless its to finish him off. Your ult will only bounce if there are nearby targets.
3. You can also use your own body to bounce
Pyroclasm
, just make sure no one is around to kill you while your doing it.
4. Brand shines the best when the enemy is grouped in one spot - be patient when throwing your skills at once.
4.You might want to hold on to
Sear
to stop an engaging enemy.
5.Brand can burst down jungle objectives VERY quick, so if you have time to steal an enemy camp - do it.
6. Keep yourself burned and hyped, but remember to also be cool from time to time :)
