Evelynn Build
Best Build Guide for Evelynn
Item Build Description
Additional information on the items
I consider Evelynn as one of the class S champion in my app's Tier Section. She's a jungler who specializes in semi-conditional-invisibility or camouflage according to her Passive Skill Demon Shade and can do burst damage in an instant. In addition to that, her overall combos allows her to do surprise assassination and be able to escape safely after ganking.
Evelynn is a mana sucker so the additional max mana from this item is a good starting stat for her. The Spellblade effect is also perfect for her combos such as using Second Skill > Wait for Curse > Third Skill (which applies on-hit effect)
Aside from the bonus crit damage, the additional Move Speed and Magic Penetration is something that will make Evelynn even powerful. She is a close combat Assassin and has strong pursuit specialty so these stats are just perfect for her. Imagine the target has 35% below HP and Evelynn use her Ultimate Skill Last Caress + the Crit Damage of this item. I've seen in one of the high rank I've watched, she deals around 1.5k - 2k and that's insane.
[stasis enchant]
Let's talk about the movement item for Evelynn. The boost should be situational meaning you should adjust it depending on the enemy team composition. Most of the time the recommended boots for Evelynn is Gluttonous Greaves but you should change it if and only if:
- The enemies are mostly AP or Heavy Crowd Controllers then use Mercury's Treads
- The enemies are mostly AD users then use [ninja tabi]
How about the enchant item? [stasis enchant] is a good counter to a target lock Ultimate Skills like Zed's Ultimate [zed:ult], Camille's Ultimate The Hextech Ultimatum , Fizz's Ultimate Chum The Waters or any abilities in general that requires some time to animate.
In general, this item will make the wearer's damage spike really high which is perfect for Mid/Late game
This is the most common item from High Elo players. This is good for countering Tanks as it deals damage based on health percentage, it has pretty high Ability Power stat with health as well and Evelynn's Second Skill Hate Spike has slow effect when charmed so it doubles the damage according to the description of the item.
Obviously this is a late game item. The magic penetration is a good counter to enemies who built magic resistance to counter you as well. You can replace it with Morellonomicon if the enemies are mostly heal type champions
Evelynn Runes
Best Runes for Evelynn
Electrocute - will deal additional damage to Evelynn's combo so it's a must rune for her.
Triump - Sometimes your gank may put you in dangerous situation after killing a target so the heal regen from this rune can be a life saver plus the additional damage is just perfect for her
Regeneration - As I said Evelynn is mana sucker so this can help her suffice that
Mastermind - Evelynn as a jungler, her objectives will not just revolves in ganking enemies but taking Epic Monsters and Turrets too which can be rewarding specially in mid to late game
Some High Elo Evelynn uses Conqueror because of the adaptive damage and she can easily have full stack of it compare to Electrocute which has a long cooldown but yeah do as you please. It's either Electrocute or Conqueror for Evelynn at most time

Learn how to maximize the champions potential
Always remember that you should do your combos or ganks while being in camouflage, always take advantage of her Passive Skill Demon Shade because if you don't you are wasting Evelynn's full potential. Next is her Second Skill Allure you should wait for the Curse to appear before doing any damage to the target. Do some poke damage and lastly execute the target using Ultimate Skill Last Caress . You can easily dominate Fizz in early game but be extra careful in mid to late game.
Jungle Guide
The purpose of this Jungle Path Guide is to be able to gank as early as possible in Dragon Lane. The most important objective you must do as Evelynn is to prevent the enemy ADC/Marksman get fed.
1. Upgrade your First Skill Hate Spike then proceed to red buff monster and kill it. Do not use your Smite yet, wait until you lose 30-40% of your HP then use it. You'll heal after smiting jungle monster
2. Your next target is Blue Buff. This will help suffice your mana consumption
3. Kill the Gromp, it provides high XP reward
4. Before proceeding to Dragon Lane, kill the Greater Murk Wolf. You have to clear this jungle monster to unlock Ultimate Skill
5. A lot of beginners doesn't know how important Rift Scuttler in the game. It provides the following:
- Grants vision of the area in front of the Dragon or Baron Nest. It's basically a free vision ward. This gives you and your team map awareness and prevents enemy ganks
- Allied champions who pass through the area receive an out-of-combat Movement Speed boost
6. After killing the Crimson Raptor, you'll be able to unlock Ultimate Skill Last Caress now
7. You are now ready to gank but make sure to enter in camouflage state first before doing any combos. Hide in bushes at the very edge of the map, wait for the enemies to get closer to you then assassinate them.
