Ahri Build
Best Build Guide for Ahri
Item Build Description
Additional information on the items
Alright everyone I know this looks troll but I promise with enough practice it’s much better than you think. So build path on ADC
Ahri
is very very important.
so starting off the game I start long sword every game just your typical AD start and my first recall I want to try and have enough gold for a
B.F. Sword
. But I don’t finish it into anything, I immediately start building
Statikk Shiv
. The extra damage and poke ability helps you survive Lane since you don’t have any AD scaling.
Statikk Shiv is the most important item on Ahri early game and you want to get it as fast as possible. Once you finish Shiv you can get your tier 2 boots and finish Infinity Edge .
After you have your two core items you can choose a couple build paths, if you are running out of mana or need the shorter out cooldown, go Essence Reaver 3rd. If you’re fulfilling more of a peeler role or just need to stick on to someone go Stormrazor .
4th item can be either of those two that you didn’t pick, or you can flex Solari Chargeblade depending on enemy comp and needs
5th item will be Mortal Reminder . If the enemy team has a lot of healing or any tanks, you tickle tanks without it since you don’t have AD scaling on abilities so this is a must for late game tanks. If they have no tanks or healing, pick whichever of the 3 flex items you have not bought.
Ahri Runes
Best Runes for Ahri
This is my most common rune set. It is a more aggressive build where you need damage and want to shred and burst. Go toe to toe with any champion, as long as you hit your charm!!
This rune set is if you know you’re going to lose lane and are against 2 long range poke champions just want to survive laning phase

Remember you are a squishy Adc. Your team needs your dps. Try to save your dashes either to escape from getting jumped on or to chase down enemies that slip away.
Ahri Matchups & Counters
Detailed information on how to play matchups and counters
This champion sucks, hit your charm and you win lane
About me
Hey guys I’m RyhDerr, also known as AP Ahri Sucks on the rift. I am a diamond Support main on PC and have been playing off meta for years, some of my creationsee have been Kalista top and support, neeko and Leblanc adc and top lane, and I discovered Chubbzilla a few years ago, a former masters Ahri ADC player, which is what gave me the inspiration to begin trying it out. I hit diamond 4 season 9 with Ahri in the bot lane and with the new items, she just isn’t the quality of champion as she used to be.
Early Game
Ahri’s damage level one is not strong, you’re not going to have any ap so just focus on fast clearing the first wave and getting level two.
Once you have your [charm] you can start taking riskier trades. Try and force the enemy into a position that you can throw your charm out, and combing off of it.
DO NOT TAKE EXTENDED TRADES
Ahri does not have high base ad, and with no AD scaling abilities she works best taking shorts trades with her charm or [orb of deception] poking them down. Use your 2nd ability to get in front of the wave to charm, or to dodge skill shots coming your way.
First Recall
You want to rush Statikk Shiv as fast as you can, but need a little bit of damage to go with it. I start [Longsword] and try to get B.F. Sword on my first recall. If you have more gold, start building Zeal and start on your Statikk Shiv . No need to finish your B.F. Sword item, Statikk Shiv is more important.
Your first few recalls should look something like this
First Recall -
B.F. Sword
Second Recall -
Zeal
and [boots]
Third Recall -
Statikk Shiv
or
Kircheis Shard
if you don’t have enough gold.
Mid Game
Once you’ve got your
Statikk Shiv
you can start being a little more aggressive. Make sure you are constantly moving to charge up your energized attack, and use it when the enemies are near the minion wave to get some free poke.
Ahri
does her best in lane when enemies make mistakes. Be on the lookout for mis-positioning by the enemies and capitalize on it. People in the Dragon lane don’t lane vs
Ahri
very often, use that to your advantage.
Auto attacking when you have your energized attack up or when your hit your charm are your best changes to trade damage, if your support has any crowd control, let them try to start the engagement, then dash in with your Ultimate, charm and combo and start auto attacking.
Ahri
is also great for chasing down kills that escape you or for fighting at dragon, she is able to get close to the enemy back line and make a pick, potentially winning the fight and securing you dragon.
Team Fighting
Ahri is exceptional at team fighting. With her ability to dash around fights and reposition constantly, she’s very slippery and able to apply a good amount of dps without allowing herself to get to close to enemies she doesn’t want to be near.
Late Game
Once you have 4 Items
Ahri
can one shot just about any squishy champion, and chase down anyone else that survives.
Again,
Ahri
is not the best for extended trades, there are plenty of other ADCs that can put damage her in a one on one fight, but no other ADCs can apply the pressure and fear that her charm does in a fight. Work behind your team, charming champions and try to peel for your teammates, while dashing around and always putting a body between you and the enemy, you are an ADC after all, plenty of champions can 1 shot you late game, so positioning is key.
[Quicksilver Sash] is a key item on Ahri late game because it allows her to make sure she doesn’t get locked down and can jump away behind her team while still laying down pressure with her autos and charm.
[Stormrazer] is great for dashing in and getting those picks before a baron fight, dash in and auto the champion once for the slow, making it harder for them to dodge your [charm] which your team can then follow up on, or if you’re fed enough you can probably just run them down by yourself.
