Well first off. Sona is very very mana dependent. She needs tear pretty much in any build you play her in WR because there is no mana regen in this game unlike in the PC version.

Tear also works well to replace spellthief's edge since shes a scaling support. Rabadon's second buy is also pretty core for my build since you are looking to do massive heals and damage with your 1st skill and passive (Staccato).

It is up to you but if you think you need the boots upgrade first you can do that before getting Rabadon's.

The boot option is pretty much Ionian boot's every time cause of the new ability haste change.

Sona might be one of the best appliers of ardent censor since she has a low cd 2nd skill that can shield her entire team in 1 ability every 4 - 6 seconds. I would take ardent 4th if your team has a lot of AD champions or if your ADC is doing very well. If not I would go harmonic echo.

The final item is a flex pick you can go many options here. Soulstealer is a fun cheap choice that lets you use your ult more often. You can also build lichbane (it is not troll) since she uses Auto Attacks to use her passive and she frequently casts spells with her Autos.

PS: If you are VERY ahead in the match you can just build seraph's after Rabadon's.
