Critical Strike
This build is the classic
Jhin
build.
Infinity Edge
and
Rapid Firecannon
are core items on this hero. We go
Youmuu's Ghostblade
because Jhin is incredibly slow at walking without this item. It is also cheaper than
Infinity Edge
which means if you CS right, you can get it before the first Dragon.
For the boots, always get
Boots of Swiftness
. With
Youmuu's Ghostblade
, this makes you quite fast and can help in teamfight positioning. Tier 3 enchants are [stasis enchant], for reasons I need not explain.
Quicksilver Enchant
is also a good alternative if there are no hard lockdown or assassins that can burst you. A less common one is
Protobelt Enchant
. Only ever get this when you are ahead, and the enemy team cannot punish the lack of a safety net in your build.
Mortal Reminder
is always good, and
Guardian Angel
never hurts on immobile ADCs.
One thing is, you can replace
Guardian Angel
for
Phantom Dancer
. It saves you sometimes, but again most of the time,
Guardian Angel
is better.
Lethality
Only ever do this build if you crushed the lane. Reasoning is that this allows you to make your lead even larger. This build can make you one or two-shot some targets compared to a Critical Strike build which usually takes three shots to kill.
Youmuu's Ghostblade
and
Duskblade of Draktharr
gives you a lot of armor penetration.
Infinity Edge
and
Rapid Firecannon
are self-explanatory, and
Guardian Angel
is never bad.
The boot enchantments are the same as mentioned above.

During my play, I found that
Conqueror
is usually better on
Jhin
. It is much better than that Energized effect
Fleet Footwork
gives you.
Hunter Vampirism
is always nice. It gives you that physical vamp, which is good for lane trading.
Hunter Titan
is nice because of the tenacity it gives. When you don't need tenacity (although I doubt that happens), you can go for
Adaptive Carapace
.

This combo is good for the laning phase. Most of the time, you don't need to commit the ultimate. This essentially ensures that you get some reasonable amount of poke in lane.

A simple root. Remember that you traps automatically mark the target when they step on it. Take note of this, root them and find the right timing to go all in.

THE BASICS
1. Jhin has lots of damage on his fourth attack due to
Whisper
. It may take some time to get used to this, but learn to last hit minions using this. Another use for this is poking the enemy. Learn to threaten your enemy by getting a little aggressive when your fourth shot is available.
2. In conjunction with the first point, you can last hit with
Dancing Grenade
. Keep in mind that this bounces four times, and always prefers champions over minions. Aim the skill to get a feel for it's bounce range, and learn to poke your enemies when they walk up the the minion wave. In addition to your fourth shot, this can deal a chunk to your enemy's health.

Deadly Flourish
can be used to poke your enemy, or clear the minion wave with
Dancing Grenade
. Do not forget that this ability has quite the long cooldown at level 1, so use it sparingly to avoid not having it in better situations. With
Captive Audience
, you can root people.
4.
Captive Audience
has multiple uses. It can be used as mini-wards. Placing them in bushes also gives vision and slows. This is helpful for when you're pushing the lane. Always remember to put a trap in the river entrance whenever it comes off cooldown. Since
Captive Audience
also slows, with the item build, you can catch up to your target and place a trap in front of them to slow them down. It also marks the enemy when they step on it, so you have a great root available.
5. His
Curtain Call
is not just a finisher. It is good for stealing major objectives like dragons or Baron Nashor, as the fourth shot from
Curtain Call
is stronger than the other three. It can also be used to slow down escaping targets when your jungler goes for a gank. The slow is quite helpful for your team to close the gap. Always mind your positioning when activating
Curtain Call
, as it can kill you if you're not careful.
