Fimbulwinter fits Nasus pretty well, as the extra hp and shield can be useful, given the fact that you have three freeze sources(Nasus W/Rylai's Crystal Scepter/Iceborn Gauntlet)
Liandry is a core item for your early game and additional damage after receiving the Iceborn Gauntlet, when you already switch to the standard Q gameplay.
Iceborn Gauntlet is an item required by Nasus to provide damage with Q, since without it, Nasus will not be able to deal enough damage.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter is an additional AP and freeze, the perfect combination with Liandry.
Thornmail is a protective item, sharpened for damage and survival.
