Shyvana AP- Jump 'em and Burst 'em (SIMPLE GUIDE)

Shyvana AP is a jungler build with full burst potential and, in my opinion, better than Shyvana AD.

Item Build Description

Additional information on the items

In the starting camp, always go for Krugs or Raptors first and then immediately go to the Red Buff. After the bottom side Jungle is cleared, try to get the scuttle if the enemy jungler is not in the vicinity. Then go to wolves and then Blue Buff. Always remember that Shyvana needs her ultimate to for your first gank or team fight.

Start with Nashor's Tooth for attack speed and early burst for early game ganks. Follow it up with standard boots and then Infinity Orb for extra health and a added critical strike when your enemy has 35% or less health. Upgrade your boots to preferably Stasis Enchant for basic protection from enemy burst. The main reason for Stasis Enchant is for a fail-safe when your initiation in team fights go south. You can activate Stasis Enchant to wait for your team mates to back you up or for a calculated escape. Follow it up with the standard trio for AP mages; Rabadon's Deathcap, Morellonomicon, and Void Staff. Usually you will not finish these 3 items because you either already won or lost the game.

Remember that this build is a full burst build that relies on you getting a proper initiation combo to delete enemies.

Mastermind

For this being a Full burst build on Shyvana, Electrocute is very viable. You can argue that Conqueror is a better rune but remember that this is a burst build for it will only take about 2-3 seconds to kill an enemy. Brutal for early AP and AD. Hunter Titan for tenacity against heavy crowd control line ups. Mastermind for added help against epic monsters because your basic attack damage is low, you mostly rely on your skills for damage.

Full burst combo. Start with your ultimate ability to knock back enemies and then use your second ability for movement speed and damage. Immediately follow up with your third ability for heavy damage and then if the enemies are still alive, chase them with your first ability activated and auto attack them to death.

Shyvana

Summary

Shyvana AP is really fun to play. You can watch your opponents run for their lives once you jumped on them with your ultimate and they lose half of their HP. The basic combo is this; Jump with your ultimate with second ability activated, shoot your third ability towards enemies for slow and heavy burst damage and activate your first ability to auto attack. Typically, after your third ability cast, the enemy should have immediately died because of the instant burst.

Always remember to take Dragon objectives. Dragons are easy to take for Shyvana because of her passive, but for this build you may need your first item; Nashor's Tooth to take down the first drake because your auto attack damage is still too low. Or you can ask the help from your Mid or ADC and Support. Taking objectives such as Drakes or Baron may be hard for this build but keep in mind that your early ganks when you reach Level 5 onwards will keep your team ahead.
