INDEPTH GALIO TANK SUPPORT GUIDE

Galio is a good Champ for someone who likes to play aggressively and also to lane Chain CC combos.

Pros

Have a High Magic Damage
Have a lot of CC
Can easlily poke enemies in early game
Easy map roaming with his Ultimate
Can land Chain CC Combos
Good Against AP Champions

Cons

Its a bit difficult to open a Teamfight when the Team doesnt have a Initiator/Engager/Frontliner
Weak in Early Game
Need an Ally
Weak against AD Champion

Additional information on the items

As a Tank you start out with Ruby Crystal to give you 150 Max Health which makes you a little more Tanky in the Early Game. First back you have to buy Boots of Speed . Then you can upgrade your boots to Mercury's Treads or Plated Steelcaps then upgrade to Glorious Enchant .

Mercury's Treads gives you 35% Tenacity which reduce the duration of the Debuff Effect (Stuns, Slows, Silences, Immobilizes). This item is good choice if the Enemies have a lot of CC like: Lux , Amumu , Annie , Nami , Rakan , Leona .
Plated Steelcaps can blocks 15% of Damage from Attacks. This item is good choice if the Enemies Pick Champion like: Tristana , Vayne , Kai'sa , Jhin , Miss Fortune , Jinx , Lucian .
Glorious Enchant is Pretty Good item for Engage the Enemies, here is a Simple Combo to Engage the Enemies: Glorious Enchant > Shield Of Durand > Justice Punch > Winds Of War > Colossal Smash or you can use Protobelt Enchant to Engage the Enemies: Justice Punch Backward > Protobelt Enchant (after you cast W backward and cast Protobelt, your W will cancel the Animation) > [flash] > Shield Of Durand > Justice Punch > Winds Of War > Colossal Smash .
Dead Man's Plate is a Pretty Good Item for Roaming because this item Passive Relentless give you +5% Move Speed, and Momentum give you 50 Move Speed at 100 Stacks, and if you attacks with max Momentum the Enemies will Slow by 50% for 1 second (Melee only).
Randuin's Omen can reduces damage from Critical Strikes by 15% and reduce the Attack Speed of Enemies by 15% for 1.5 second when struck by an Attack. This Effect can also be Stacked with Frozen Heart (Reduces the Attack Speed of Nearby Enemies by 20%) so you have 35% Attack Speed Reduces.
Abyssal Mask This item can make you survive longer and your mana last longer, Click the Item for more details.
Thornmail This Item is a Great Choice if the Enemies have a High Healing/Vamp/Health Regen, buy Bramble Vest for first item if you play against Champion like that, Click the Item for more details.
Warmog's Armor This Item is good for 6th Item, because this item Restore you Health 5% per Second if you havent taken damage within the last 6 Seconds. You can also buy this Item if your team is Ahead of the Oppsing Team in Early - Mid Game, Click the Item for more details.

Situational Items

Liandry's Torment Buy this Item if your Team Lacks of Damage.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter If you hit the Enemy with your Skills or Empowered Attacks like Colossal Smash , the Enemy will Slow by 20% for 1 Second.

Weakness if you immobilize an enemy, they will take 5% more damage in the following 5 seconds
Hunter Titan give you Max Health, if you Takedown a Champion (Kill/Assist) you will gain 20 Max Health and 4% Tenacity, this effect can be Stacked up to 5 Stacks (5 Enemy Champions) total 100 Max Health and 20% Tenacity if you combine this with Mercury's Treads you will gain a total of 55% Tenacity.
Pathfinder give you 9% Movement Speed in Bush, Jungle, River when Out of Combat. This stat really help you to Roam Faster.
