• Instead of Mortal Reminder , Black Cleaver is also viable. Black Cleaver gives hp and ability haste, while Mortal Reminder gives grievous wounds and more damage. So it is very situational.
• Survivability is also a way to tell a good Zed player from the rest! Phantom Dancer gives shielding and crit chance, build when enemies have hard burst. Death's Dance reduces damage taken in one go and makes is so that you have a lesser chance to get one shoted, build it when you're hard diving enemy carries. Maw of Malmortius shields magic damage, build it when enemy mages do the most damage. Guardian Angel lets you have two lives, build when your not very ahead.
• Most of the time it's best to build Ionian Boots of Lucidity for cdr and ability haste, but other boots like Gluttonous Greaves and Mercury's Treads are also good in certain situations.
