Additional information on the items
Even with the nerf on the AD stat on the
Blade of the Ruined King
, that item is still a really good choice on
Kai'sa
as first item. You can evolve in an easier way (considering the stat change) your
Supercharge
to better position yourself in teamfight, or for example, to prepare an ambush without being seen.
That's why you see just the
Recurve Bow
instead of full
Runaan's Hurricane
. You no longer need to close that item to evolve
Supercharge
.
Considered that, to evolve
Icathian Rain
before this patch you needed
Blade of the Ruined King
and
B.F. Sword
, now you need to close
Infinity Edge
in order to enhance your
Icathian Rain
.
You can build
Kai'sa
in two ways: full AD or hybrid. Personally I suggest the full AD one most of the times because it really gives lot of damage on
Icathian Rain
and autoattacks, instead, you can play the hybrid version with
Rabadon's Deathcap
to evolve all of your skills. You can ask "why no
Nashor's Tooth
?" Because that item doesn't give enough AP to
Kai'sa
to evolve
Void Seeker
, and instead, putting them both would be both a waste and a risk. Better put a
Guardian Angel
instead of
Nashor's Tooth
.
As situational item I personally suggest
Mortal Reminder
because it further enhances
Kai'sa
's identity as an anti-tank marksman.
Kai'sa Runes
Best Runes for Kai'sa
These are the runes I personally use on Kai'sa.
Conqueror
right now is the best choice as main rune on her, missing Hail of Blades from League of Legends.
Triumph
can give you extra gold as well bonus damage to low health targets and healing you back when you kill them.
Bone Plating
is a must have because it helps a lot on short trades,
Sweet Tooth
gives enhanced healing and bonus gold when you or your ally take the honeyfruit.

Learn how to maximize the champions potential
This is one of the earliest combo you can do with
Kai'sa
, around level 2. You can go directly on the opponent with
Icathian Rain
, hit enemies 3 times and successively hit with
Void Seeker
to instantly active
Second Skin
and inflict massive damage on enemy target.
This is a good combo to close a gap with an opponent. Use
Void Seeker
to poke someone to activate
Second Skin
and have the possibility to use
Killer Instinct
on that target. Be sure to use
Killer Instinct
when enemy CCs abilities are on cooldown, if you don't want to get stuck and killed in enemy backline. When you ult, you can do massive damage or directly terminate your target with
Icathian Rain
and autoattacks.
