Item Build Description
Additional information on the items
UPDATE: So I've noticed that
Summon Aery
and
Font of Life
doesn't proc Support Items (
Ardent Censer
,
Staff of Flowing Waters
,
Harmonic Echo
, and
Athene's Unholy Grail
) anymore. Idk what is going on and I hope this is just a bug that can be fixed. With that in mind, for Patch 3.1A, I personally think AP Seraphine works better (until this bug is fixed)
STARTING ITEMS
-
Amplifying Tome : If you prefer to poke the enemy during the laning phase.
-
Boots of Speed : If you prefer to roam and help your allies to get an early lead (not recommended)
CORE ITEMS
-
Luden's Echo : This item is very gold efficient since it gives you 85 Ability Power (AP) + 300 Mana + 20 Ability Haste with only 3k gold which is everything you need in an item for AP Supports. In addition to that, this item's passive also deals 100 + 10% AP magic damage to 3 targets (champion are prioritized) after stacking up Discord. This is specifically good with
Seraphine 's 1st ability
High Note because it can reduce the enemy's HP by great amount since your 1st ability will deal more damage the lower the enemy's HP.
- For boots,
Ionian Boots of Lucidity is the most recommended and flexible since it reduces your spells and abilities cooldown by a great amount. For instance, [Flash] is reduced from 150s 🡢 127.5s | [Heal] is reduced from 130s 🡢 110.5 | [Ignite] is reduced from 100s 🡢 85s. But for situational situations, it's probably better to buy either
Mercury's Treads or
Plated Steelcaps depending on what kind of damage the champion that hunts your head deals to you.
Choose either you want:
- [Stasis Enchant]: A highly efficient item against burst damage especially when you time it just right. It is a super passive-aggressive item since you can use it to engage while still being alive, and also a defensive item that prevents you from dying to burst damage from champions like
Zed ,
Rengar ,
Katarina , etc.
- [Locket Enchant]: A highly efficient item to peel your allies from damage especially during teamfight. This item allows your teammates to be as aggressive as they want since you can just shield them with this item AND heal them using
Seraphine 's 2nd ability [seraphine:2]
Next, you want to buy
-
Rylai's Crystal Scepter : This item is INSANELY good against enemy with anti-slow like
Master Yi , and
Nunu & Willump while also very good against enemies with high mobility. As we all know,
Seraphine 's 3rd ability
Beat Drop now roots enemy instead of slowing them with
Rylai's Crystal Scepter 's passive. This helps you to lock down these high mobility enemies with a single cast and CC chain them while they are rooted with
Encore and let your teammates finish them off.
AGGRESSIVE ITEMS
These sets can only be used when:
- Enemies have a lot of tanky champions such as
Dr. Mundo ,
Nasus ,
Rammus , etc.
- Enemies have a lot of Shields like
Shen ,
Lux ,
Karma , etc.
- No one can deal with those 2 types of enemies.
-
Oblivion Orb : You should buy this item if the enemy team has champion(s) that can lifesteal (vamp) and heal a lot. Reducing the healing effects by 40% . This effect is called Grievous Wound. IDEALLY, you don't want to complete it to
Morellonomicon ASAP until you get another item since it will be more efficient that way.
-
Infinity Orb : A great item to deal IMMENSE damage with
Seraphine 's 1st ability
High Note since
High Note increases damage the lower the enemy's HP is. capped at 25%. This item allows you to CRIT that damage equals to 20% of the damage dealt to enemy below 25% HP.
-
Liandry's Torment (OPTIONAL): This item synchronizes well with
Rylai's Crystal Scepter since Liandry deals 1% of enemy's max HP over 3 second but DOUBLES if the enemy is immobilized (stun, slowed, knock up, knock back, root) and
Rylai's Crystal Scepter ALWAYS immobilize your enemies when you hit enemies with abilities.
-
Morellonomicon : After completing your 1 or 2 other items, consider finishing this item as healing effects will grow stronger during the late game. This allow you to reduce healing effects by 40% to enemies above 50% HP. It will increase to 60% healing reduction when enemy has HP lower than 50%.
-
Void Staff (SITUATIONAL): You can replace
Liandry's Torment if the enemy is high in Magic Resist.
-
Rabadon's Deathcap (OPTIONAL): This item is a must buy against squishy enemies allowing you to MELT your enemies before the fight even started. (Not recommended because Supports don't often get many gold)
DEFENSIVE ITEMS
These sets can only be used when:
- Enemies have a lot of backline destroyer. For instance,
Zed ,
Rengar ,
Master Yi ,
Akali , etc.
- Enemies have a lot of CC. For example,
Morgana ,
Karma ,
Pantheon , etc.
- No one can protect you from those 2 types of enemies
-
Oblivion Orb : You should buy this item if the enemy team has champion(s) that can lifesteal (vamp) and heal a lot. Reducing the healing effects by 40% . This effect is called Grievous Wound. IDEALLY, you don't want to complete it to
Morellonomicon ASAP until you get another item since it will be more efficient that way.
-
Crystalline Reflector : Good against Burst AD champions.
-
Banshee's Veil : Good against Burst AP champions and CC champions.
-
Morellonomicon : After completing your 1 or 2 other items, consider finishing this item as healing effects will grow stronger during the late game. This allow you to reduce healing effects by 40% to enemies above 50% HP. It will increase to 60% healing reduction when enemy has HP lower than 50%.
Note: You can mix the Aggressive and Defensive Items together depending on the situation given. Let's say the enemy has INSANE amount of AD damages yet squishy champions, you can take the Defensive Items but replace
Banshee's Veil
since the enemy doesn't have AP champions or at least the AP enemy doesn't bring threat to you. Keyword is, BE FLEXIBLE with your current situation. Take these factors into account:
- Who's the enemy carry?
- Do they chase for backline?
- Are they tanky/squishy?
- Can my enemy do anything against this enemy?
- etc.
Glossary :
- Healer : Champions that can heal themselves and their allies like
Soraka ,
Seraphine ,
Font of Life , etc.
- Lifesteal/Physical or Magic Vamp : An effect that heals (a) champion(s) whenever they attack someone by using abilities, items, and runes such as
Olaf 's 2nd ability,
Blade of the Ruined King ,
Hunter Vampirism ,
Fleet Footwork , etc.
- Auto Attack Champion : Champions that Auto Attacks a lot like
Jinx ,
Master Yi ,
Ashe , etc.
- Caster Champion : Champions that rely a lot on skillshots and abilities such as
Ezreal ,
Ziggs ,
Seraphine , etc.
- AD Champion : Champions that deals physical damage.
- AP Champion : Champions that deals magic damage.
- Hybrid Champion : Champions that deals both magic and physical damage.
- CC Champion : Champions that have Hard and Soft Crowd Control (Stun, Slow, Blind, Silence, Root, Knock up, Knock back,)
Seraphine Runes

![Gathering Storm](https://wildriftguides.gg/img/wildrift/runes/GatheringStorm.png)
![Loyalty](https://wildriftguides.gg/img/wildrift/runes/Loyalty.png)
![Manaflow Band](https://wildriftguides.gg/img/wildrift/runes/ManaflowBand.png)
KEYSTONE RUNE:
Since
Summon Aery
and
Font of Life
can't trigger Support Items now, while Seraphine has only 1 shielding ability, you should take:
-
Electrocute (Recommended): This rune is simply unbalanced since it allows you to destroy one of the enemy team completely in teamfight. The only thing about this rune is it has a very long cooldown (20s)
-
Summon Aery : This is a rather safe rune since you'll be dealing a lot of damage when poking/laning, and peel your allies from dying.
DOMINATION RUNE:
Gathering Storm
and
Weakness
both have great values but
Gathering Storm
is focused on late game while
Weakness
works both on early and mid to late game since Seraphine has a lot of CC in her kit including
Rylai's Crystal Scepter
, this
Weakness
would still be disgusting.
-
Weakness (Highly Recommended): To allow your teammates and yourself to deal 5% more damage for 5s. Imagine. All the damage from all allies including yourself are dealt 5% more damage. Even
Triumph is weaker than this rune and
Triumph 's damage can only be used by its user only.
-
Gathering Storm : To allow you to deal and peel more damage the longer the game goes.
RESOLVE RUNE:
-
Loyalty (Recommended): This rune is great to give yourself and the closest ally bonus defensive stats. I know it's not much but it still gives value throughout the game.
-
Bone Plating : This rune is great so you don't die immediately by a one-combo one-shot but the thing about this rune is, it's value is decreases the longer the game goes since it only reduces 30 to 60 damage and it can be procced/triggered easily so you don't get much value out of this rune honestly.
INSPIRATION RUNE:
-
Manaflow Band : Have you ever experience during a teamfight, you have mana for it and you use all your mana during that teamfight, but then comes the clean-up crew from the enemy team and you have no mana left for that champion? Yeah, that's why you need this. Note: clean-up crew/champions is a term used for champions who literally stays behind until someone else engages for them like
Master Yi ,
Katarina and
Kha'Zix .

ADVANCE TIPS & TRICKS
Seraphine's Best Friends:
Passive
Stage Presence
- [New]: Your passive now is fully stacked whenever you spawn/respwan from the fountain.
- Echo stacks can be seen under your Healthbar.
- Your abilities turn to 3 different colours depending on how many Echo
Stage Presence stacks you have.
- Once your Echo
Stage Presence is fully stacked, your character will light up.
- There will be a little spotlight under your allies if you are in range to give your ally your Notes
Stage Presence The enemies will see that your ally's clone has no spotlight under them. Champs that can use clone is
Wukong with his 2
Warrior Trickster .
- Your Notes
Stage Presence lasts for 5 seconds and can only be stacked 3 times for each unique ally including yourself. Maxed at 15 Notes.
- Your Notes
Stage Presence 's duration can be seen on your Auto Attack button.
- Your Notes
Stage Presence also gives a you a slightly extra range. You can outrange the enemy towers with at least 6 stacks of Notes
Stage Presence .
- There is no limit to how far your ally Notes
Stage Presence can travel.
- If your ally dies while carrying Notes
Stage Presence , the Notes
Stage Presence will disappear but your range remains buffed.
- Abilities that were casted twice thanks to your Echo passive
Stage Presence will not cost twice as much mana.
- Enemy CC will not cancel your Echo abilities.
1st Ability
High Note
- You can [flash] during your 1
High Note , 3
Beat Drop and your Ult
Encore animation.
- Your 1
High Note will always land on the area you cast before you [flash].
- Your 1
High Note deals more damage the lower their HP goes.
- Your abilities beside your 2
Surround Sound will always expose enemy in brush upon hit. This is a cool trick you can use before you ward so you dont get gang banged
2nd Ability
Surround Sound
- Your 2
Surround Sound will heal instead of shield if
Seraphine already have a shield. This applies to all shield including [barrier], Mountain Dragon Buff and your 2
Surround Sound first cast.
- Your 2
Surround Sound heal have a 2.5 seconds delay just like
Redeeming Enchant .
- Your 2
Surround Sound can shield/heal untargettable and invincible allies.
- The range you can apply Notes
Stage Presence to your allies are the same as the range of your 2
Surround Sound .
3rd Ability
Beat Drop
- Your 3
Beat Drop can slow enemies upon hit. If they are already slowed, they will get rooted. If they are rooted, they will get stunned. These effects last for 1 seconds.
- You can synergize your 3
Seraphine with champions that provides slow, root, stun, and knockup like
Ashe ,
Jhin ,
Miss Fortune ,
Lux , etc.
-
Rylai's Crystal Scepter counter champions that have anti slow effects since you root them instead of slowing them. Champions that have these kind of abilities currently is
Nunu & Willump and
Master Yi .
- You may as well synergize it with items such as
Iceborn Gauntlet ,
Rylai's Crystal Scepter ,
Shadows Enchant and also red buff.
Ultimate
Encore
- You can extend your Ult
Encore upon ally / enemy hit as if they're the one casting the Ult
Encore .
- Your enemy will not see the hitbox for your extended Ult
Encore .
- Your Ult
Encore have a unique sfx that will scare off the enemy so be sure to make full use of your extended Ult
Encore .
- Clones like
Wukong 's 2
Warrior Trickster can also gets Echo
Stage Presence and extend your Ult
Encore .
